Acupuncture (and More) for Summer Activities

Sore shoulders from stand up paddle boarding? Tired arms from overhauling your yard? Stiff neck from your latest road trip?

Summer energizes us and calls us to try new things or dive back to old hobbies. If you are waking up stiff and sore, acupuncture, acupressure and cupping can help alleviate the tension and pain of doing activities to which your body may not be accustomed.

Acupuncture uses very thin needles to tap into and open energetic pathways, stimulating the nervous system and immune system to circulate stuck energy and relieve tension. With application of a very low current, electro-acupuncture can even reset and calm irritated nerves.

If needles freak you out, acupressure and cupping can help loosen tight, achy muscles with just physical manipulation of tissues using the same theory and energy points as acupuncture, but completely needle-less.

For your convenience — so you don't miss out on any of those fun daytime summer activities! — we also have evening and weekend appointments available. And we direct bill to insurance.

Please phone us at 250.370.1020 to book a free 20 minute consultation if you have questions.
